The 40th Annual Meeting of the European Society for Vascular Surgery — ESVS 40th Annual Meeting — will take place from 6 to 9 October 2026 in Belgrade, at the Sava Centre. This jubilee edition of one of Europe’s most important professional gatherings in the field of vascular and endovascular surgery will bring together leading experts, researchers, clinicians, residents and industry representatives from Europe and around the world.
The ESVS Annual Meeting is the central meeting point for the vascular community, dedicated to the exchange of knowledge, the presentation of the latest scientific and clinical advances, and the improvement of everyday practice through expert sessions, research presentations, e-poster sessions, interactive discussions and practical educational formats.
The congress programme will cover a wide range of topics in vascular surgery, including aortic disease, carotid pathology, peripheral arterial disease, venous disease, vascular access, diagnostics, diabetic foot, thrombosis, vascular trauma and other clinically relevant areas. A special part of the programme will be dedicated to education through hands-on workshops and interactive case presentations within the ESVS Academy Pathways programme.
The fact that the jubilee 40th ESVS Annual Meeting will be held in Belgrade represents an important recognition for Serbian vascular and endovascular surgery, as well as an opportunity for Serbia and the region to further strengthen their position within the European professional and scientific community. For four days, Belgrade will become a place of meeting, exchange of experience and discussion about the future of vascular medicine.
The congress will be held in person, with no option for virtual attendance or immediate on-demand access. Selected sessions from the scientific programme will subsequently be made available to ESVS members through the ESVS Library.

To mark the 40th anniversary of ESVS, the European Society for Vascular Surgery is exceptionally granting a 30% discount on the registration fee to participants who hold an ESVS European Membership and come from countries included on the list of eligible countries.
This discount:
- is available exclusively to ESVS members from eligible countries;
- will be automatically applied during the registration process if the participant’s country meets the criteria;
- cannot be combined with any other discount, including discounts for speakers or authors of accepted abstracts.
